Renting an Orlando Timeshare May Save You Money on Vacation
If you love to vacation in Orlando, you should consider a timeshare. In the long run, you may end up saving hundreds of dollars on accommodations and food. Timeshares work much differently than booking a hotel room. Purchasing one of these packages usually gives you an option of choosing which week or weeks you want to visit.
Compared to the prices of resorts or hotels in or near the Magic Kingdom, a Disney timeshare rental can often be a much less expensive option. Many are located in Condo or apartment type settings, with a stove and refrigerator, where you can prepare some of your own food, saving quite a bit on eating out for each meal.
Some Orlando timeshares may offer packages that include admission to the Disney parks. This should always be considered in the price as well. There are packages that include all three parks with three days of admission, while others may include one or two of the parks.
There are other things to see and do in the area, aside from the Disney parks. Sea World and other museums are located within a short drive. There are some great restaurants situated away from the parks as well. You may also feel like driving to either the East Coast or the Gulf Coast, for a day at the beach – in either direction, the beach is about an hour away. Because the area has so much to offer, these considerations make a difference.
A Disney Vacation Club membership is another alternative. This is more flexible and gives you more options, such as choosing a home or villa. You can also choose which weeks to visit, without the worry that those weeks may already be chosen by someone else. This membership is also good for many Disney attractions outside of Florida and other places around the world.
The option you choose depends upon how much time you plan to spend at the theme parks and other plans you may have. If you are able to travel to other destinations, the membership may be the best solution. If you simply enjoy the theme parks and everything related to them, and have some flexibility in dates or weeks, the timeshare option may be best.
